Our tasks
The Accident Investigation Board (AIB) in Denmark (Havarikommissionen for Civil Luftfart og Jernbane) is an independent governmental institution.
The fundamental purpose of the AIB is to investigate accidents and serious incidents involving civilian aircrafts and railways in order to prevent these by determination of circumstances and causes.
The AIB does not apportion blame or liability.
